Registration as a Registered Candidate Auditor

Application for registration as a Registered Candidate Auditor is made on Form 5. This form is available on our website and should be printed, completed, and signed by the applicant and the Oversight Registered Auditor (ORA), and thereafter emailed to us, together with the following:

  • the appropriate cheque or proof of payment;
  • the firm's job planning documentation;
  • copy of your ID documents;
  • letters confirming ITC and APC results;
  • copy of your SAICA training contract discharge certificate; and
  • where applicable, SAICA membership certificate.

The documentation must be emailed to us at adpadmin@irba.co.za.

There is a once off registration fee payable on application. Up until 31 March 2020, the amount of this fee is R6 120. Should you prefer to make payment electronically, the IRBA's banking details are as follows:

Please attach the confirmation of your electronic payment to your application form.

Processing of application forms normally takes between five to seven days from receipt of the correctly completed application forms and correct fees. Submission of an incomplete application form, or the wrong fees, will cause delays.

On approval of your application, you will receive a letter confirming your registration as a Registered Candidate Auditor together with an ADP welcome pack.
